Wellfleet oysters were shipped to England for the coronation of King George V in 1911. They曵re that good. Creamily sweet and briny in equal measures, they are a reflection of the pristine Cape Cod waters in which they grew. Not all Wellfleets are created equal, but these are some of the best.

Why We Love It

Island Creek oysters are on acclaimed restaurant menus nationwide, from San Francisco’s Fifth Floor to Chicago’s The Publican to New York’s Aldea. They’re plucked from pristine Massachusetts waters and shipped to you in the very bag they first live in on the oyster boat. These are among the best New England shellfish we’ve found, with all the hallmarks of that regions oysters—briny and bright, sweet and beautifully craggy in appearance.
