Salty New England oyster lovers flip for Chatham oysters. Chatham is in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and its waters produce briny, salty oysters in a beautifully rugged shell. We love them simply spritzed with lemon, or brightened with a pickle juice, dill and cucumber mignonette, as they are served at New York City restaurant The Breslin.

Here's what you get:

  • 1 bag of live, raw Chatham oysters shipped with food-safe coolant packs

Island Creek Oysters Duxbury, MA

In 1992 Skip Bennett of Duxbury, Massachusetts decided—along with 15 other local growers—to raise and harvest oysters using low-impact, sustainable methods. The result? Brilliant oysters found on menus from the White House to The French Laundry.

Why We Love It

Island Creek oysters are on acclaimed restaurant menus nationwide, from San Francisco’s Fifth Floor to Chicago’s The Publican to New York’s Aldea. They’re plucked from pristine Massachusetts waters and shipped to you in the very bag they first live in on the oyster boat. These are among the best New England shellfish we’ve found, with all the hallmarks of that region's oysters—briny and bright, sweet and beautifully craggy in appearance.
