Maribel Lieberman's first career in food was as a celebrity caterer (Whoopi Goldberg and Bill Clinton were her clients). But the real stars of those evenings were Lieberman's chocolates, and it wasn't long before they became her focus. Today, Lieberman uses single-sourced Colombian and Venezuelan chocolate, for all her chocolate creations. In this assortment, the delicate and slender chocolate tasting squares are flavored with plain chocolate, fleur de Sel and coffee. Each box is elegantly packaged and makes a very special gift for a true chocolate lover.

Why We Love It

When Maribel Lieberman opened her business in 2000, her husband, Jacques, designed the colorful, abstract cocoa-butter silkscreens that adorn her chocolates. Today, Maribel concocts a variety of desserts. From sweet Meyer Lemon fruit preserves to her crunchy chocolate sticks and addicting toffee. The chocolates pair wonderfully with coffee, of course. But the earthier flavors—espresso, pistachio, and hazelnut—are magical with rich, red wines or bubbly sweet reds such as Northern Italy's Brachetto D'Acqua
