Piquant and citrusy thanks to sweet Persian lemons (also called “Omani Lemons”) mixed with savory garlic and fragrant cardamom, this exotic blend is named for the onetime capital of Persia. It’s a spectacular flavor combination that can transform couscous, curries and stews from ordinary to extraordinary.

Jar of Inspiration

Lior Lev Sercarz crafts his blends for professional chefs, some to honor the cuisine of a particular culture or person, and some simply to add unique flavor to foods. No matter the inspiration, Marc Forgione contends each is “put together with thought and passion.” Searcarz’s only instruction for using the blends: “open a jar and be inspired.” Iced and hot herbal infusions, to grilled or roasted meats and vegetables to cookies and cakes can be given a new life from Sercarz’s creations.
