Creminelli Fine Meats and Beehive Cheese Salt Lake City, UT

Cristiano Creminelli began making salami as a teenager—his family has been curing meat since the 17th century. Five years ago, he expanded Creminelli Fine Meats from the Italian alps to Salt Lake City. His meats are paired with one-of-a-kind cheeses from Utah's family-run artisanal cheese company, Beehive Cheese.

Utah Flavor

Six years ago, childhood friends (and now brothers-in-law) Tim Welsh and Pat Ford ditched their careers in software and real estate to start Beehive Cheese, one of the few artisan cheesemakers in Utah, specializing in first-rate artisan cheeses made from the milk of Jersey cows grazing near the Great Salt Lake. Try the Promontory in mac n' cheese or with roasted red peppers on a panini. The Full Moon cheese (the first batch ever made at Beehive was crafted under a full moon) is made with raw cow's milk and its flavors reflect the region where this cheese is crafted: near Utah's mineral-loaded Great Salt Lake.
