Bryan Flannery, Jr. has been immersed in the meat business since sweeping the floors of his dad's famous butcher shop. Today, Bryan sells natural and sustainably raised meats in his own shop, Bryan's Fine Foods, under the watchful eye of the store's manager, his daughter Katie.
Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email from Gilt Taste notifying you of your ship date. All steaks will arrive frozen via overnight shipping in an insulated box with coolant.
Why We Love It
A lot, apparently. Bryan Flannery wanted to give his top-of-the-line offerings a deserving name and he came up with "Private Reserve", a name he thought aptly conveyed how near and dear they were to his own meat-mongering heart. Apparently others thought the same thing, so much so that they had named their limited lines the same exact thing. A few months, and several foreboding law suits later, Bryan and his crew decided on a more appropriate (and currently unused) name: California Reserve. They couldn't be happier, as it allows them to give credit where it is due - to the hand-picked family farmers that Bryan loves and supports.
