Packaging is made from recycled material and printed using soy-based inks and chemical-free plates at a 100% wind-powered facility. Droga Confections ships Monday through Wednesday. Michelle Crochet’s mother made fantastic salted-peanut rocky road candies while pregnant with Michelle. The result was a young girl obsessed with candy—and who in fact named her candy company after the Italian word for “drug.” Droga sticks close to home in sourcing the best ingredients: All the chocolate comes from San Francisco’s Guittard. We love to carefully torch these strawberry marshmallows over a stovetop burner before quickly squishing them between two graham crackers—a modern take on s’mores.
