Michelle Crochet first fell in love with rocky road chocolate when she was a little girl by way of her mother’s traditional recipe. In 2007, she started her San Francisco-based artisan confectionery, swapping out classic walnuts for salty peanuts and crafting home-made marshmallow.

After your order is processed, your candies will be shipped for 2-day delivery in a container with cold packs. Packaging is made from recycled material and printed using soy-based inks and chemical-free plates at a 100% wind-powered facility. Droga Confections ships Monday through Wednesday. You will receive an email from Gilt Taste notifying you of the ship date.

 

We Built This Candy

Michelle Crochet’s mother made fantastic salted-peanut rocky road candies while pregnant with Michelle. The result was a young girl obsessed with candy—and who in fact named her candy company after the Italian word for “drug.” Droga sticks close to home in sourcing the best ingredients: All the chocolate comes from San Francisco’s Guittard. We keep these candy building blocks handy in the event of unexpected pint-sized guests!
