The Grand Cru of Preuses is considered one of the finest Chablis wines, and is a perfect partner to flaky, white fish like halibut below. Located in the northernmost wine district of Burgundy, La Chablisienne consistently produces elegant and refined wines. Because the soil and climate of Chablis are rich with limestone and clay, and marked by a cool climate, these wines are bright with acidity, green fruits and minerals.

Chablisienne Les Preuses is the product of a superior winemaking collective, so we think it’s fitting to pair this wine with the Alaskan Halibut, sourced from a co-operative of fishermen.  Halibut has a flaky flesh that takes well to a supple bath of white wine, butter and lemon.
