Why Eat My Meat?

According to LaFrieda President Mark Pastore, “Eat My Meat” has been the company’s slogan for a very long time. “We used to have it on the trucks. We still have it on the building,” he says. When asked about the catchphrase’s origin, Pastore explains it is simply a request to, well, eat our meat. “We know our meat is better. We know it’s a cut above. I tell chefs all the time to taste ours and then taste somebody else’s. It speaks for itself.”
