Husband-and-wife team Emily Butters and Forrest Butler prepare their handmade syrups with meticulously sourced spices and certified-organic, fair-trade ingredients to make well-balanced, simply dazzling mixers.

The lush taste of tamarind drove Royal Rose to find the finest organic fruit for their small-batch simple syrup. Artisans Emily and Forrest toiled over and experimented with the sticky, sweet tamarinds until they found just the right pulp, from the most fragrant, ethically grown fruits. Obsession led to all-out fascination, as the couple came up with syrup-infused cocktails like the Tamarind Sour, which unites the smooth flavor of bourbon, tart lemon, bitters, and tangy tamarind. We love the depth it adds to a fruity white sangria, and aThai-inspired tamarind sauce for shrimp.
