In 2003, Christina McCoy Cohn turned her family's toffee recipes into a family business. She teamed up with her husband, George, and opened the Nashville Toffee Company a company that creates homey confections, just like the ones her grandmothers made.

Crowd Pleaser

There are few things we love more than a good-old family recipe. Nashville Toffee Company uses recipes handed down by founder Christina McCoy's great-grandmother. In order to ensure family standards, George (Christina's husband) is often in the Nashville kitchen and everything is made by hand in small batches. Sugar, sweet butter and lightly roasted almonds are cooked together, then poured onto trays to cool. Once hardened, the toffee is coated with a thick layer of chocolate and more almonds, before broken into bite-sized chunks by hand.

Use and Care

  • Snack and store for 1-2 weeks unrefrigerated or extend shelf life by refrigerating or freezing contents for up to a year.
