The Poulet Bleu was developed and then adapted into the American farming community from Canada in the early 1980's upon the French refusal to export the prized Bresse Bleu, it's closely linked relative. The lineage is expressed through its fiery red-cox comb and vibrant cerulean blue foot, markings of avian aristocracy. Not only is it certified antibiotic free, but it has not been genetically tampered with at any point during its ancestry, unlike most of our modern chickens.
