The Pour-Over

If you’re looking for a single brewing method to make every Blue Bottle coffee shine, it’s the pour-over. The right equipment is crucial; you need a ceramic dripper, filters and a long-spouted kettle for precision pouring.

To begin, set the dripper on top of your cup and add four level

tablespoons of finely ground coffee. Heat your water to

approximately 190°, then drizzle a small amount over the grounds—just enough to moisten them, but not so much that brewed coffee starts to drip through. Wait 30 seconds or so, then continue pouring a slow and steady stream, orbiting in a circle the size of a quarter. Serve immediately.
