Why We Love It

Recognizing a renewed tea interest in 2001, avid tea drinker Shane Talbott installed a tea bar in his stylish Chicago salon and spa. He trained with the National American Tea Association to earn his master tea blender certification, then began creating custom brews for his high-end clientele. In 2005, Talbott and co-owner Steve Nakisher sold the salon, and turned their focus to tea full time. Working with a U.S. importer, Talbott selects only the best organic and Fair Trade teas from South Africa and Asia, combining them with dried fruits and fragrant flowers from Eastern Europe. He then mixes the ingredients into numerous test batches in his tea lab, searching for the just the right blend. Enjoyed hot or iced, Talbott Teas have quickly become a hit with both tea enthusiasts and top restaurants.

Use and Care

  • Store tea in a dry, dark, and cool place
  • Dishwasher safe, cups are microwave safe
  • Do not put teacup on flame or heating element
  • Let boiling water settle for about 15-20 seconds before pouring
  • Use baking soda dissolved in warm water to clean tea stain as needed
