Why We Love It

Like many of Five Mountains' teas, Heirloom Emerald tea leaves come from the famed Lan'Xang River Valley, a virgin rainforest where tea masters have harvested for as long as 4,000 years. To brew the perfect cup, be aware of the three "Ts:" (water) temperature, (steeping) time and total (amount). Steep one tablespoon of Heirloom Emerald with eight ounces of 180° water for five to seven minutes. The tea is certified organic in the United States as well as the far-stricter European Union and Japan.
