Why We Love It

Grand Crimson tea comes from the Zhu Ye cultivar, a tree that produces leaves high in geraniol, tea leaves' main aromatic essential oil. To brew the perfect cup, be aware of the three "Ts:" (water) temperature, (steeping) time and total (amount). Steep one to two teaspoons in eight ounces of boiling water for five to seven minutes. The tea is certified organic in the United States as well as the far-stricter European Union and Japan.
