Frenched Rack of Lamb

This product is not currently available.

Succulent and mild with a hint of sweetness from the lush grasses of Oregon's Willamette Valley, these racks come from lambs that have spent their entire lives in pasture. The animals never eat grains and are never treated with antibiotics or hormones. The fifth-generation family who runs that ranch is committed to humanely breeding lamb at their natural rates of growth so that they roam the hills freely, eating only when they're hungry. We recommend these racks roasted and paired with Melissa Clark's spiced Moroccan charmoula.

Here's what you get:

Capital Lamb

The rolling pastures of Oregon’s Willamette Valley are the perfect place to raise lamb; the region is called the “Grass Seed Capital of the World” since its mild climate and heavy rains ensure an endless season of lush, green pastures. We also love Oregon lamb because unlike lamb in New Zealand or Australia, these animals are raised for their meat. Ranking #1 and #2 in world wool production, Aussies and Kiwis primarily raise wool breeds with genetics that produce lots of fluffy fleece.  For five generations, Anderson Ranch has been selecting lambs to breed based solely on the quality of their meat.
