The meat is well marbled and darker in color than supermarket pork since it comes from heritage breed pigs that Becker Lane pasture raises and with home grown feed. Becker Lane supplies pork to some of the country's best restaurants like The Publican in Chicago, and charcutiers including Iowa-based La Quercia.

These pork chops are packaged individually and will arrive frozen. They will be shipped overnight and are specially packaged in an insulated box with ice. Becker Lane Organic Farm only ships Monday through Thursday.

Jude Becker, a 6th generation farmer, believes in sustainable farming. One of Becker Lane's most impressive commitments is to grow all the food they feed their pigs. They've reserved over 400 acres of land for growing organic corn for feed. Becker Lane runs a sustainable farm where Berkshire pigs, a handsome black and white heritage breed from England, roam free in pastures loosening the soil, weeding the land, eating seeds and roots while fertilizing the fields for next year's crop.
