This elegant yet deep pinot noir is coming into it's own. The red berry and black cherry fruit is integrated beautifully with the earth and spice. The vines are 50-55 years old, and for the last ten years farmed organically. The winemaking is kept simple and with no intervention, letting the beautiful fruit age in French oak (25% new) to become a stunning wine. Rich, flavorful foods pair beautifully with Pinot Noir, particularly from Burgundy where there is complexity and nuance of flavors. We love this with duck confit, creamy cheeses or a perfectly roasted chicken.
