Why to buy: The first Oregon wine from the famous Bugundy family remains one of their best, and is now in its 21st year. Drink it right now, but know that it is also an excellent addition to your cellar.
Characteristics: Hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes are brought to the winery in small totes for sorting. The result of such attention to detail is a precise, alluring wine with notes of spices and black berries and a dense, spicy balanced structure that pairs fantastically with seared duck. This wine is at its peak from now until 2020.
