93 points, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
This Champagne is so elegant, graceful, seductive and delicious. It makes me want to kick back with close friends and enjoy a bottle with tasty cheeses, caviar or even dim sum!
- Jeffrey Meisel, Gilt Taste Wine Director
Rosy in hue, this lively cuvée is made on small oak barriques by a fourth-generation cellar master in a family business that has been making Champagne since 1864. On the nose, you’ll find red currants and a chalky, mineral aspect. On the palate—beneath a delicate sparkle and bright acidity—you’ll discover deeper hints of berries and earth. Combining the best fruit from three areas in Champagne, this lively rosé cuvée synthesizes Pinot Noir’s richness and Pinot Meunier’s almond notes with Chardonnay, whose lively bouquet of citrus and flowers reflects the appellation’s cool climate.
Varietals: 45% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Meunier, 15% Pinot Noir
Nose: Layers of red currants and chalk
Palate: Fresh berries, wet earth and a zesty acidity
Alcohol: 12%
Appellation: A.O.C. Champagne-Epernay

Alfred Gratien
At Alfred Gratien, Champagne is an art form. Since 1864, this estate celebrates sustainable agriculture, low-yield vines and traditional techniques. It's one of a few producers still fermenting their wines in small oak casks prior to adding a sparkle-inducing dose of sugar and yeast. This creates lively and aromatic hand-made Champagnes.
