94 Points, Antonio Galloni, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Why to buy: Only ten numbered jeroboams of this extremely exclusive Dom Pérignon Rosé 1998 exist in the world. We secured two of these bottles for you, signed by filmmaker David Lynch (Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive).
The backstory: One of the most renowned vintages of Dom Pérignon Rosé is here showcased in a three liter jeroboam whose case and label were painstakingly designed by David Lynch. This harvest was a spectacular one: Record-high August temperatures caused many grapes to burn, but a deluge of rain in the first part of September saved them. Harvest was delayed, and the wait was rewarded with miraculously fine weather and healthy grapes at peak maturity.
Nose, palate and pairing: This is a famously intense and full-textured wine with a bouquet that has notes of citrus, spice, fruit and warmth. On the palate, it is vibrant and balanced in structure—a clear-cut taste with the merest hint of astringency.
