Les Crêtes Chardonnay 2010 (92 points): The alpine’s relatively harsh climate strongly influences this wine: the grapes are harvested late in the growing season when they are bursting with flavor. In the glass you’ll find notes of ripe melon and papaya, stony minerality and a pop of acidity. Pair with Italian mountain cheeses like Fontina or crunchy crostini slicked with rich pork lardo.
J. Hofstätter Italian Pinot Bianco DOC 2010: We love this wine's gorgeous bouquet of white flowers and grapefruit, mineral balance and mouthwatering acidity. This is a white wine that can stand up to grilled pork chops, peach-and-basil salad, and steamed artichokes with garlic aioli.
