Nose, palate and pairing: Deep ruby red in color, this wine is rich in aromas of ripe raspberries, figs and white pepper. On the palate, you'll find a deep earthy balance and subtle spice. An exceptional pairing with red meats, we love this wine in the summer with grilled steaks and burgers.
The backstory: With organically-farmed grapes picked at full maturity, and matured in Burgundian and American 3-year seasoned oak barrels, this unfined, unfiltered wine is a true expression of Mendocino's terroir.
