Chambre de Sucre
Sucre Carré Petit Sugars

These exquisite sugars are handcrafted by the oldest family-owned business in Japan (who has been providing the Japanese Royal family with their sugar since the time of the Shogun). Traditionally part of the Japanese tea ceremony, these tiny, tinted gems weren’t dissolved into the bitter brew, but eaten alongside the tea. Chambre de Sucre’s flowered cubes make a lovely hostess gift or will steal the show during coffee service at a bridal shower or garden party.

Chambre de Sucre
Lisa Kunizaki, born and raised in Queens, imports these sugars from Japan, a place she traveled every summer of her childhood to live with her grandparents. Lisa and her grandmother spent time entertaining guests, where their trademark for these gatherings was serving tea with these “jewels of sugar.”
