Château de la Selve
Red, White and Rosé for Bastille Day - Rhône Valley’s Château de la Selve
This product is not currently available.
Why to buy: This half case of red, white and rosé wines is the perfect complement to big-group entertaining. These Rhône Valley organic, biodynamic and naturally-produced wines are top-of-class in each of their categories, and at under $13 per bottle, a real steal.
To welcome your guests: Kick off the party with La Selve's salmon-hued Maguelonne rosé: a dry, mineral-rich wine with pretty notes of strawberries and watermelon. We love to pull out this bottle with a tray of fresh French cheeses and charcuterie.
For garlicky shrimp or grilled salmon: We love the lemon-yellow St. Regis – a dry, unoaked 100% Viognier wine – for its summery notes: peach, citrus and hints of mint. Beautifully fresh with great acid, this wine plays best with seafood straight off the grill.
To pair with juicy burgers and dry-aged steaks: The ruby-red full-bodied "Beaulieu" is a blend of Cabernet-Sauvignon, Grenache, Merlot and Cinsault with bold flavors of blackberries, notes of nutmeg and tarragon and a long, winding finish.
