Frustrated by paperwork and studying for law-school exams, Ambler FitzSimons decided to turn her baking hobby into a career. In 2001, she swapped a future of subpoenas for spatulas and created Blissful Brownies an Oregon-based company that crafts small batch brownies.

Recipient will receive notice of subscription enrollment and monthly shipments of six 2.5 oz brownies. For orders placed before the 21st of the month, one box of brownies will ship on the second Tuesday of the next month. Orders placed after the 21st, will ship in two months. Additional assortments will ship the second Tuesday of the ensuing months. Gilt Taste can not modify order or shipment timing.
