Actor Kyle MacLachlan began making wines with Eric Dunham, the senior winemaker at Dunham Cellars, after Kyle approached Eric about serving his (sold-out) 2009 Syrah at his wedding. Eric agreed, the men decided to make wines together, and this small production blend (only 434 cases were produced) is one of their first efforts. Aromatics of black cherries and clove precede a well-structured palate of black berries, cocoa nibs and velvety tannins.
Varietals: 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 11% Syrah
Nose: Layers of cloves and cocoa-covered cherries
Palate: Opulent black cherry, anise, and cocoa nibs
Alcohol: 14.2%
