We sipped this Syrah over the course of a ten-course Thanksgiving meal, which we shared with the winemaker Eric Dunham and his sometime collaborator, actor Kyle MacLachlan. Dunham takes Syrah to the northern latitudes of Columbia Valley, where the varietal reveals its restraint, rather than its power. It also happens to be the wine Kyle served at his wedding, pairing it with rack of lamb glazed with cherries.
