Nose, palate and pairing: On the nose and the palate, this wine is like a summer peach. Low in alcohol with a touch of sweetness that never cloys, this wine is versatile: it will draw out the sweetness of prosciutto and duck, or brighten a panna cotta with juicy macerated berries.

Backstory:Massolino believes a Moscato should capture the essence of a fresh grape: “For us, it has to do with the conservation of its fragrance and freshness.” Good acidity must also be maintained, which requires that the winemaker pick the grapes at precisely the right moment. Massolino has managed to expertly craft fresh, fragrant wine that reminds us of summer orchards.
