Monte Mathews worked in advertising until his ham recipe started getting noticed by the likes of Saveur Magazine and the New York Times. Now he works with New York State farmers to create top-quality hams, and donates a portion of his profits to fighting hunger.

Once your order is processed, it will be delivered to you for 2nd day delivery. You will receive an email from Gilt Taste notifying you of your ship date. Monte's Ham ships Monday through Thursday. All packaging is completely biodegradable and features Bio Guard boxes made from post-consumer recycled corrugated material. Excelsior used is all-natural wood shavings and biodegradable.

Use and Care

  • All hams are fully cooked and ready to heat and serve. They are never frozen and should not be frozen. Refrigerate immediately. Keep at 37-40 degrees until ready to prepare. Ham will keep in refrigerator for several weeks.
  • Glaze can be stored for six months or more. Cloves can be stored indefinitely. Ham is Gluten-Free. Glaze may contain gluten.
