Nose, palate and pairing: Ruby red to garnet with aromas of cherries, tobacco, leather and spice, the Neri di Luop is rich, but not heavy on the palate with notes of ripe black fruit, minerals and earth. Drink it with seafood that has a kick like crab cakes with spicy aioli or a rich fish stew.
Wild mint, vanilla and dark fruit on the nose of the Ca Fiui Valpolicella lead to fruit and velvety tannins on the palate. It’s a rich wine that’s beautiful with a steak.
