Once summer weather hits, it seems like all anyone wants to do is sit outside sipping prosecco. This year we're turning all our friends onto Fantinel's sparkling rosé – a gorgeous dry (not sweet) sparkler from our favorite prosecco producer, and made in the same style.

Bright, fresh and fragrant with summer strawberries and raspberries, this wine is pretty much the perfect companion to a game of bocce ball in the backyard, alongside juicy grilled sausages and buttery corn on the cob. Though it's fermented in stainless steel, its mouthfeel is creamy and smooth, with a mouthwatering splash of acidity.

We Love This With

Jump-start a meal with glittering brut rosé and a seafood starter, like baby Spanish octopus, cooked with a quick snap of heat, olive oil, parsley and lemon (or try our fabulous marinated octopus recipe with fennel and black garlic). This sparkler is just as wonderful at the end of a meal, however: Notes of red summer berries make it a wonderful companion to a panna cotta garnished with strawberries macerated in balsamic vinegar and sugar.
